IXL Learning is a resource that offers lesson plan ideas and online games for students to play.
TVO Learn connects directly with the Ontario curriculum. Offers free and engaging unit plans, lesson plans, activities and assessment ideas.
Unite for Literacy offers online books that allow the ability for read to self and assisted reading
Epic Books offers online books for all levels that can be individualized for each student. Very interactive, allows for students to follow along and listen to the story while being able to visually see the words.
Teachflix offers videos of different highlights in different subjects
Student Treasures Publishing provides students the opportunity from Kindergarten to grade 12 to publish their writing in a class book for a topic of their choosing. The kit if free and provides 33 writing pages and 33 illustration pages for students, a Cover, Title, Dedication and Author Page as well as a free hardcover copy of the book for the classroom. upon completing the book families have the option to purchase a copy.
Learning without tears provides plans and resources with a direct connection to the Ontario curriculum for Kindergarten to grade 5
